SEA SURFACE LOW TABLE

This table is the pilot piece of the series, conceived as a notional subtraction of the sea. The intriguing patterns of the timber surface appear as imaginary reflections of water ripples that are restrained within the circumference of a perfect circle. Elevated gently off the ground, the notional sea is resting on three spherical feet of a nocturnal lilac tone, assembling a conceptual dawn.
