AKI rug A is an organic formed rug, which in combination with the elements that surround it create different shapes, as a negative space drawing on the floor.

Aiming to embrace the unexpectancy of the organic, the AKI rugs is a series of flat cut-out surfaces that inspire to both frame and mark new terrains on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Each piece is made out of artificial wool (Polypropylene), a synthetic fiber of tightly twisted yarns that give a vibrancy to the seemingly bidimensional surface. Chosen for its high resistance to wear and heat, Polypropylene is an excellent choice for outdoor use, whilst its antistatic properties make it resistant to dust and easy to clean.

The MORPHE series is the succession of the brand’s previous collections where serenity meets radical aesthetics. The concept is the amalgamation of functional pursuit and imaginative form with the design aiming to take shape in between opposing states. Captured at the moment of transition, the materiality follows the paradox where seemingly solid materials take fluid forms and vice versa. The design products of this series are imagined as shape shifting not only in their objective conception but also as mediums that also shift their hosting enclosures.
