Matthew is an exceptional creative consultant and lecturer who captivated me from our first meeting. As it happened, I met his mother first on a flight from Athens to Cyprus. Friendly and engaging, she had just arrived from Milan, and we soon began discussing fashion. In the course of our conversation, I shared my own story with Chloe, mentioning that I was in Athens overseeing the manufacturing of the furniture we designed for their LA stores. That’s when she spoke about Matthew, a Cypriot whose international success I was already familiar with. Not long after, I joined their family for lunch, where we had a lively and inspiring conversation. Matthew then invited me to collaborate on stage design for his upcoming talk. He shared his vision for empowering local businesses in Cyprus to reach new global heights, and together, we carefully curated pieces from our studio to create the perfect stage design for his talk, titled Beyond Borders.
