Meta Armchair

This seat piece is conceived by stacking seemingly pure volumes, resulting in an articulated cube chair that holds in place a circular back. Covered in a black and white patterned motif, the design merges the primal classicism of the volume with the contemporary aesthetic of the modern digital era. Its ergonomic shape follows the principles of the human body and optimum sitting position, by limiting excessive articulation in form. Comfortable but also easy to maintain, it’s upholstered with a water repellent and easy to clean fabric.

The MORPHE series is the succession of the brand’s previous collections where serenity meets radical aesthetics. The concept is the amalgamation of functional pursuit and imaginative form with the design aiming to take shape in between opposing states. Captured at the moment of transition, the materiality follows the Paradox where seemingly solid materials take fluid forms and vice versa. The design products of this series are imagined as shape shifting not only in their objective conception but also as mediums that also shift their hosting enclosures.
